Pak SIM Data
Understand what "Pak SIM Data" means, how to safely check SIMs on your CNIC using PTA (cnicsimcheck.pk & 668), and why to avoid illegal SIM databases and live trackers.
1. What People Mean by "Pak SIM Data"
In Pakistan, terms like "Pak SIM data", "Pak SIM database", "Pak SIM owner details" are often used informally for:
- Checking which SIMs are registered on your CNIC
- Checking SIM owner information (name, basic registration)
- Sometimes, improperly, for full personal details of any number
Two Different Approaches
Some blogs use "Pak SIM data" to describe purely official PTA checks (cnicsimcheck.pk, 668, operator helplines). Others promote third‑party tools that claim to show name, CNIC, address, and more for any number, which may rely on data sources that should not be openly accessible.

Why Many "Pak SIM Data"
Sites & Apps Are Risky
Some sites and apps branded as "Pak SIM Data", "SIM database", "CNIC tracker" advertise that they can show full name, CNIC number, address, list of all numbers on any CNIC, and live status or location ("live tracker").
Not Officially Supported
They often claim to be connected to PTA/NADRA/operator databases, but this is not officially supported; reputable guides and consumer resources warn that such services usually rely on scraped, leaked or misused data.
Privacy Violations
Exposing your or others' personal data without authorization violates privacy laws and can lead to serious legal consequences.
Legal Issues
Misuse of such databases can conflict with Pakistani privacy and cybercrime rules, including PECA 2016.
Inaccurate Data
Outdated or wrong info can lead to wrong assumptions and potentially harmful decisions based on incorrect information.
How To Safely "Audit"
Your Pak SIM Data
If you want to audit your own Pak SIM data (which SIMs exist on your CNIC):
Check via PTA
Use PTA's official SIM Information System:
- Web: cnicsimcheck.pk
- SMS: CNIC → 668
Compare with Reality
Match counts per operator with SIMs you actually own or use. If you see more SIMs than you carry, those are extra/unknown SIMs.
Visit Operator Franchise
Go to the relevant operator's CSC/franchise with your original CNIC. Request disowning/blocking of extra SIMs and complete biometric verification.
Re‑check Later
After some days, run 668 / cnicsimcheck.pk again to confirm counts dropped.
